Cornell: Size matters!
By Teddy Foster
An interesting match up will take place on the undercard of tonight's main event featuring "Dynamic" Dean Cornell against former middleweight champion Darek "Mili" Zaloga. The contest will see one of the biggest gaps in size and power between two men possibly in the history of the division. 7ft tall giant Cornell will enter the ring tonight at 241lbs, the heaviest he has ever been, while Zaloga in stark contrast will enter the ring giving away a whopping 78lbs and well over a foot in height to his opponent leading to a classic David and Goliath style contest. The pluky Zaloga, who has never been stopped at any weight, will have his work cut out for him tonight against Cornell who is in good form since he made his long awaited return to boxing with a 1st round KO of Scott Belilli followed by an impressive 5th round KO win over strong fringe contender Akebono. At the joint press conference Cornell said of the contest that "This is going to be the easiest payday of my career, Darek will learn tonight that size matters, he will struggle to go the distance with me, hell the guy is gonna need a ladder just to reach my chest, I'm going to send him back down to the middles tonight, where he belongs".
